Diako Yazdani, an Iranian Kurd and political refugee in France, goes to Iraq accompanied by Kojin, a 23-year-old gay friend, to confront his devout family, friends and other members of the Kurdish community with their prejudices on homosexuality. Through humour and poetry, the director presents a powerful portrait where encounters between people are an invitation to reflect on being different.
