Even though the girl (Lely Sulastri) already has a poor boyfriend (B. Nast Efdal), the father (Udjang) accepts the "proposal" brought by the matchmaker (Wolly Sutinah). Fortunately, the mother (Fifi Young) does not agree, so that it can disrupt the smooth process of the sickly future son-in-law (Rasjid AL). "Happy ending", because the prospective groom collapsed in front of his future wife's door...
