But the emotional and professional strain of this work has taken its toll—she is burned out. Now seeking a job with less responsibility, she encounters people who share their stories on camera. REMBETIKO ROAD moves between fiction and documentary, gradually painting an increasingly vivid portrait of life in Berlin - its everyday working realities and the individual’s place within the neoliberal economic system.
