When Malmö FF icon Markus Rosenberg walked off the pitch at Parken on December 12, 2019, he did so for the last time as an elite player. The Europa League match against FC Copenhagen marked his final appearance. The 37-year-old left behind a successful career that included 33 international caps and professional stints in five countries. Yet, it is above all his years with his boyhood club, Malmö FF, that have cemented "Mackan's" legendary status in Swedish football.
